Experts: Russian youths use more mobile data, make longer calls

MOSCOW, Nov 10 (PRIME) -- Russians under 25 have used the mobile Internet more and talk on the phone longer since October 1, 2020, according to a study by research service Beeline.Analytics seen by PRIME on Wednesday.

“The clients under 25 use the mobile Internet 49% more than before, and the duration of voice calls grew by almost 74%,” the experts said.

The people under 35 extended duration of calls by 36.6% and used the mobile Internet 36.8% more. Women preferred calls, while men picked the mobile Internet.

The most popular services among the people aged 25–35 are web browsing, Yandex applications, WhatsApp, YouTube, and Facebook.

The most popular devices among the people under 35 were Apple iPhone 11, Samsung Galaxy A51, Apple iPhone 7, Xiaomi Redmi 9A, and Samsung Galaxy A10.
